Our 2023 events calendar
It’s been a whirlwind start to the year with plenty of work to keep the team busy, awards ceremonies and charity events to attend and much-needed holidays for management and staff. We can’t quite believe it’s been three whole years since we were plunged into lockdown but thankfully life is all but back to normal now (and long may it stay that way!). While the first couple of months of 2023 have flown by, we’ve managed to get an exciting event calendar lined up for the Black Nova Designs trade stand, including lots of equestrian and countryside-focused events. We’re looking forward to hitting the road and catching up with customers and new contacts, so here’s where you’ll find us this spring, summer and beyond.
Cirencester Park Horse Trials – 24th to the 26th of March
Our first event is coming up in just over a week’s time in the spectacular setting of Cirencester Park. With the start of the 2023 British Eventing season slightly disrupted thanks to the inclement spring weather, we know lots of riders will be looking forward to making their seasonal debut at Cirencester. We’re looking forward to being part of this fun local event and seeing lots of top riders and horses competing in national classes as well as pursuing the food vendors and fellow trade stands. The Great British Expo

Badminton Horse Trials – 4th to the 8th of May
The most iconic three-day event in the world and a firm fixture in every eventing fan’s diary, this year’s Badminton Horse Trials has been moved slightly as it takes place the same as the nation will celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. The big screens will be busy when that’s taking place and a few glasses will be raised to mark such an historic event. We’re delighted to be exhibiting there after an amazing debut at the 2022 event and will have goody bags, VR headsets to try and our staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have about our services. This year, Badminton Horse Trials will take place from Thursday 4th May to Monday 8th May and you’ll find the Black Nova Designs stand at 164 Swangrove!

The Devon County Show – 18th to the 20th of May
We’re excited to be heading to the Devon County Show for the first time this summer and connecting with our customers and fellow business owners down in the west country. The Devon County Show is a three-day agricultural show that’s held every year in May at the Westpoint Arena and Showground near Exeter. Farming, livestock and equestrian sports sit at the heart of the show and we’re naturally looking forward to seeing the horses in action just as much as sampling a local cream tea – with the cream on top, as is the Devonshire style. The Business Exchange Charity Conference and Expo – Thursday 15th of June
We’re excited to be taking part in the Business Exchange Conference Expo which takes place at Bath Racecourse on Thursday 15th June. It’s set to be a great opportunity to connect with businesses, charities and other organisations in our local area with a networking breakfast and seminars on the subjects of finance, marketing, governance, technology and volunteering taking place throughout the day. We will be taking the trade stand and look forward to the chance to spread the word about our services, charity efforts and how IT can help people improve efficiency, connect with customers and boost profits. Barbury Grassroots Horse Trials – 14th to the 16th of July
We’re excited to be exhibiting at the Barbury 2 Grassroots Horse Trials in July which will also include a Cotswold Cup Qualifier. Barbury is a super venue near Swindon, so it’s just down the road from our offices in Calne. We’ve worked hard to forge a strong reputation in the equestrian and rural sector for our website design, hosting and SEO services, so this should be another chance to meet with prospective customers and catch up with industry friends. The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park – 4th to the 6th of August
The iconic Gatcombe Park is often called the home of British Eventing and we can’t wait to head here with the trade stand in August! By then the eventing season is at its peak and we’ll be seeing which international combinations might be in contention for selection for next years’ Paris Olympics.
